I do not like windows 8. But the general functions works fine. And it is thin so it is portable.

I recently bought one of these at best buy a few weeks ago, and so far have loved it! I am really happy with the bluetooth and dvd/cd drive that came with it! I also am enjoying the new windows 8 interface, most people ive heard from have had negative comments about windows 8 being unintuitive, but there are so many articles, videos, and books on it, it is hardly true. I play minecraft on distance far+ and run a screen recording system with no noticeable lag on it, so it has fairly good processing speed. heck, i'm typying this review on it and have no negative comments!

ok yes it has a plastic body...but its tuff.....also texture of lid and mouse pad fingerprint/smuge prone....though you can buy a clear protector similar to a cell phone screen protector and face plate for lid...yes you can get diifer color/desighs....i mean a 15.6 inch 720p hd screen and 1 meg hd web cam with flash resolution like a 3 meg cell cam....dont listen to guy left comment bad cam ...no pc has spectacular cam....pics are clear and you can see all detail in faces no wavey....also with 4 gig memory on board with expandable to 8 gig...and a 320 gig hdd with 1007u duel core intel ceron processor with accelorator bridge maxx audio equalizer and presets best your sound for music/movies and games...this a good pc for everyday task work/play....good time start up within 5 sec .....5-10 sec shutdown.....mulltytask adaquate speed...ohh pc does not get hott....heads up bestbuy has same laptop for $280.....
