Laptop still runs like a champ. Runs Skyrim, BF3, COD Black Ops2 smooth as silk. Just make sure to have high-performance mode enabled (there is a button on the laptop that toggles between performance settings). Cooling fan either doesn't ever need to kick in high gear or is just deathly silent. Laptop never feels exceedingly hot, so I know its working. I don't care for the feel of the touchpad mouse but I generally use the USB mouse that came with it. No issues with typing. Great laptop, so much so that my friend just purchased 2 of these, impressed by this one.
Great laptop, very fast. I didn't like how the two heard drives were partitioned down as if they were 4, however. Very little bloatware. I haven't run anything really graphically intense yet, only Starcraft 2, DC Universe online, and Everquest. I mainly purchased it for use with Photoshop, but wanted a gaming laptop for when I went to my friends.
The good quality laptop bag and gaming mouse that was included free with the purchase, was an unexpected bonus.
Also, I type about 40-45 words a minute, and have had no issues with missing letters as reported with other Asus ROG laptops. May be a problem for folks who type faster, but I haven't experience the issue.
