IT IS A BIT AWKWARD TO LEARN ALL OF THE NEW FEATURES OF WINDOWS 8, BUT GRADUALLY I AM LEARNING MORE AND MORE AND LOVE THE LAPTOP. I AM LOOKING FOR ANOTHER ONE JUST LIKE IT, EXCEPT A WEE BIT SMALLER FOR MY WIFE AND THEN THE VISTA CAN GO TO ANOTHER HOME. WOW, I CAN NOT BELIEVE THE DIFFERENCE IN THE 2.

The Asus 17.3'' laptop i bought last week is a beauty.The online movies streaming to my tv from the laptop are sharp and clear .The keyboard has very large letters and is smooth typing with them.Yeah it has the dreaded windows 8 on it but what i did was .installed windows defender ,firefox browser and since i use att email i installed yahoo/att.net so i dont even use the windows 8.It works like the windows 7 i had on my samsong notebook before i replaced it with Asus laptop.You will not be sorry that you bought this laptop.Also no hot air from it.I took 4 caps ,the same size off of spice bottles to use as feet for the laptop so it is not laying on table .The airflow keeps the laptop cool.I love this laptop....
