I've had this laptop for 3 years and haven't had a single problem with it.

Taking into account I treat it very poorly that's pretty amazing.

The only down sides are that its very heavy and the graphics card is outdated.

I highly recommend it as a desktop replacement that allows for occasional moves.

Previously having a refurbished dell studio from tigerDirect (worst company out there) that failed within a week, i contacted dell and they sent me a BRAND NEW dell studio at no extra charge.. there customer service was great even being i didnt order the dell from them. My new studio after having it for 4 years, being used every single day for games, or online browsing has worked GREAT. and today, FINALLY something has failed on it. The battery! Ive used it pretty rough for the last 4 years, i have even dropped it from the top of my bed to the floor on accident once and it still has never given me any problems, idk if its luck or what. I only noticed one difference between this studio on amazon and mine.. my processor is a 2.20GHz t6600. I would reccomend this laptop to anybody because of its reliability. The only DOWNSIDE to this laptop is the shitty speakers and the keyboard can act funky at times ! And the mouse pad is junk! but everybody i know has a mouse!

I got this computer in October of 2009. With this being my first Dell computer ever I must say it is a definite step up from my former computer. I haven't had any issues with the computer itself, but with some of the software that was put on it (McAfee Security...I hate that stuff). I do A LOT of typing, and never had any issues with my keyboard. I use a USB mouse, so I cant say much on the touch pad.

I originally got this computer because I played online video games, along with web surfing, email, and word processing. I still have no issues with playing the game (World of Warcraft) though I don't personally play, my niece has played on this computer and it still performs wonderfully!

I cant talk it up enough and if I could get a second one for a reasonable price I would do it in a heartbeat. I want to have a second computer for my part time job and this would be my first choice. (Only want a second computer so I can work and the family can do their own things).

I doubt I will ever have another name brand other than Dell unless things would change in the company. I love this computer and I have had it for two and half years with NO ISSUES!
