From the manual: "If a port is black, it is USB 2.0 compatible, if
it is blue it is also USB 3.0 compatible". You will probably need this port for a wireless mouse.
After two days of ownership the computer has performed well for a relatively inexpensive laptop.
Windows 8 is not easy to navigate, to me. The 17.3" screen is bright, big, & very viewable.
Battery life is rated at 4.5 hours, which goes by very fast.

I love this laptop. I was skeptical because of the price compared to the stores. This purchase is truly a blessing to me. It looks and performs perfectly. It still has the original plastic . Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
