It stated clearly that this laptop was upgraded to 8gb ram, but the machine only has 2gb of ram. Would love to have the other 6gb of ram to improve performance.

Read Product Description very carefully. It has a small (tablet size) screen and no dvd drive. Not sure how you are supposed to watch movies. All available content would be online.
