After waiting nearly a month to receive the product I had to contact the company. I was advised that my package must have been "Lost" by FedEx. I find this hard to believe, but they shipped another and I got it in two days.I was not able to use the computer because upon turning it on I found the screen was cracked straight down the center. I contacted the company and was treated horribly by representative "Jeff." Jeff informed me that I had no common sense because I had thrown away the box that the package came in. NOT the box for the computer, but the huge shipping box. I had to inform Jeff that in addition to successfully operating businesses, I am also in the legal profession. I beg to differ with his comments, which he said in each communication he sent me. I don't know how much room he has to store every empty box; I don't have room anywhere to do this.
After contacting Amazon, which was very prompt and courteous, I was asked to return the item to the company for a full refund. Amazon contacted them.
In researching what I want to replace this with I went to Laptop PC Magazine online and found that Toshiba is very last for 2012 and 2013 reviews. I have always loved Toshiba, which kept me from researching much, but now I definitely agree with the reviews and will be trying something different.
I don't believe ANY company should allow their representatives to be so offensive to clients. It is not a good way to keep business, ESPECIALLY when your main product is going downhill.
