I have always used an HP for my computer needs. My husband surprised me with this Toshiba model for Christmas. We have a friend who is a web designer and gave him three suggestions, one being this Toshiba. I can honestly say I was skeptical, but after initial set up I am more than impressed. The sleek design catches your eye right off the bat, and the fact that I have a web cam and Skype are certainly upgrades that I enjoy! If you want a laptop that has all the bells and whistles without over doing it, try this Toshiba! you won't be sorry!

I bought my Toshiba Satellite just before Win 7 came out. Everything was fine until I upgraded. Since that time (2+ years) my microphone, camera and LabelFlash have ceased to function. I've spent countless hours on Toshiba's sites only to learn I am not alone. I find it incredulous that a major computer manufacturer would fail to anticipate software upgrades. What is it the kids say? "Duh." From my point of view Toshiba has made absolutely no effort to address these issues. It's about time for me to buy another computer and I promise you it will not be a Toshiba. See for yourself. Enter the model number and read the Toshiba forum. Notice how not one of these problems is resolved for countless hapless owners.
