Have had one over a year now. Love the extra display size, and on board Ethernet. Charges ipad quickly and efficiently. Like it over Retnia models due to on board optical drive and Ethernet sockets. Wish it had USB 3, but that was cutting edge when i purchased this laptop.

I have a Dell Inspiron for over 6 years now bought for $650. Still working, but wanted to upgrade. The Mac I bought for $1,950 is not ANY faster and stable. For one year now, it had a few crashes, and I am extremely careful which applications I am using, and closing the ones I am not using right away. Except the sleacky and sturdier look, the performance is not at all better. I even bought extra RAM (8GB total) comparing to my old Dell with only 2GB. Very disappointed!!!
