We liked this notebook until after about 5 months the battery died. Could only buy the battery at ASUS (Amazon does not carry it). It cost $120. Now 7 months later, the battery died again and I just spent another $120. This is getting real expensive really fast. The ASUS support guy did not really seemed surprise about the short battery lifespan.

Nice computer, fast.

Has an issue with headphone jack but will get that replaced locally for a few bucks because otherwise good.

I was not sure of the condition of the laptop while ordering. But when it arrived, I was happy to see the laptop. It was brand new as I ordered refurbished. It also came preloaded with Windows 7, which was not mentioned on the web. I think it should have been mentioned. Thank you
