I made all the comparisons, and read all the reviews. I compared the product to Alienware and saw the large cost savings. After weighing all this data, I made the move and laid down the 2,000 dollars on what I hoped would be a great desktop replacement and an awesome gaming machine. Unfortunately, I had problems from the day I opened it. There were registry errors that may or may not have been caused by windows update, and i had to restore factory settings before I had it three days. Less than a week later, I started experiencing some boot irregularities with the raid configuration, and would have to reboot sometimes to get it to work. I wrote it off as as a new machine working its kinks out. About a week later, the machine locked up and would not reboot, period. So now I sit for a month without any computer while I have to send my new computer(at my expense) back to MSI for repair. I am very disappointed and will probably not purchase this brand for my next computer.

So far has been a really great laptop. No Issues. Shouldn't have to upgrade for a long time. Had no trouble upgrading to windows 8 as well.
