I would not recommend this camera because it does not have a flash. Therefore you can not take pictures indoor or outdoors unless it's very well lit. Unfortunately I didn't discover this issue within the one month return window and am stuck having spent $200 with a camera that doesn't prefer as it should. It is easy to use, but what good is that it your pictures turn out very dark and grainy looking?JVC is my best brand for video movies. I tried many brand all doing well. But this camcorder is very easy to use, I love it.
