These ThinkPad's are built like tanks, and it's rare to get the X230's with the i7 processor a worthwhile upgrade. Most that I see are always with i3 or i5. I especially like that they are MILC (military) tested for pressure, humidity, vibration, temperature, dust, etc. That way I don't have to worry about a simple drop or trying to be super careful whenever I carry the thing it's going to last regardless of what I do. The Thinkpad brand at Lenovo has always built quality laptops, and I think it's worth it to pay a bit extra for the dependability and build quality. The backlit keyboard on this model is also something very worthwhile.

This product is very nice with a core i7 3520 cpu, a SATA III 7200 rpm 500g hard disk, and 2 sodimm 4G 1600 MHz RAM memory. X230 is portable and fashion to work with, it meets my daily work needs.
I hope Lenovo could improve their strategies and lower the price in China so that Chinese, like me, won't have to purchase Lenovo's products overseas to save the money.ヽ(o`皿′o)ノ
