Price, lightweight, looks like a Macbook Air, matte screen, feels metallic solid, backlit keyboard, speakers, motherboard quality (I hope it lasts long, I read that ASUS is famous for its motherboards; my previous ThinkPad motherboard failed after about 2 years of use)
fan noise barely audible at any time, had to bring the laptop close to the ear to hear it running.
Temperature gets barely hot at the bottom even after many hours of use, heat dissipation is very efficient with all metallic surfaces

keyboard I don't like chiclet style keyboards, not really good for typing. My previous Thinkpad had an awesome keyboard.
processor core i3, kind of slow, but I knew it while buying, guess that's why it's cheaper.
SSD does not boot any faster. It's as if the laptop has a regular spinning HD.
Battery I'm getting ~ 3-4 hours with regular use.
Wireless no problem so far, connects immediately upon booting/waking up.

Mousepad the worst thing in this ultrabook is the mousepad. It's enormous in size (there was really no need!) and because of that my hands keep touching it and making mistakes all the time while typing. I am getting used to typing with my wrists slightly lifted off of the surface. Moreover, mousepad is very sensitive to touch, I am not sure if there is any setting which can be changed to make it less sensitive, will look around. Also I miss the dedicated left/right click buttons. I had them in my previous Dell and ThinkPad laptops and found them useful for navigation.

Pros:Quick, but not lightning speed
Amazing design, weighing in around 3 pounds
Back-light keyboard and its spacing
Ideal for school, or everyday use
3 usb ports
Comes w/ USB to Ethernet & Mirco USBto HDMI cable.
Cons:
Battery life is average
Fan is on the bottom, but rarely gets hot
Loaded with bloatware
Fan is not completely silent, but is not distracting
No DVD/CD player, not a deal-breaker however
Trackpad is unnecessarily large
For the most part, I believe this laptop is a great run for its money. I am very impressed with its design, and is ideal for me since I do not plan on doing graphic design or gaming on the laptop. 4gb of ram is plenty, and is for the most part fast but like I said it is not blazing speed. I can type flawlessly on the keyboard, and in addition the back-light keyboard is a nice feature. The sound is pretty good, and the speakers are located to the right/left side of the laptop. Upgrading the battery and deleting the bloatware isn't to much of a hassle. This is a laptop worth buying.

Cons> not as fast, screen not as bright as a macbook, sometimes fan gets a bit noisy
Neutral> battery is not bad, but not awesome either, it last like 5 hours with normal use

I'm so glad with this purchase. I chose the refurbished version from Ocean Reef and the result is great. US$ 100 less and feels completely new.The laptop looks great. The computer is fast and responsive. The touchpad (once I deactivated the tap function) works smooth and great. I would definetely recommend it.
