this is a great laptop, fast and HP!HP has lots of software support, but 8 is a problem for those of us trained on
windows 3 through 7 (even 6 or Vista).
8.1 made it worse my VPN still works on 7, but not on 8??

Came dead on arrival. nothing on screen, no beeps... called HP.. spent three hours with tech support. No luck. Really nice laptop. design and build quality is great. I returned this computer without turning it on or activating it in any way. It had a scratch on the side of the case that was apparently there when it was packaged at the manufacturer. The packaging was adequate and undamaged. The seller was in no way responsible as this was drop-shipped to me directly from the manufacturer distributing center.
