My internet connection never had problems dropping on my windows 7 HP, HP sucks in it's own right but this one is so confused becuase it has a browser in windows 8 and if you try using IE on desktop the connection is not smooth. I set the settings so that this wouldn't happen but it still drops my connection. I VPN for work on my work laptop which has 7 and never have a problem with connections so I know it's not my ATT Router. I am going to work with support to resolve but what I'm finding on the internet is not favorable and seems like an issue for a lot of people buying windows 8 PCs, laptops, etc. If I'm downloading something guess what? the connection drops in the middle of process. They absolutely love them. The i5 processor was a HUGE upgrade from the Celeron and Sempron processors they had in their old laptops.
