This laptop is great. It is powerful, well made, and even has good battery life for a 17" machine. Our only complaint is in terms of value. After buying one of these ZBooks, we found that the Dell Precision has similar performance at a much lower price. With the 3200 x 1800 resolution screen, we found that employees who used to demand a 17 inch display were now begging for the higher resolution, lighter weight, and smaller package of the Dell Precision M4800.

There is nothing wrong with this machine, but give Dell a chance if you are looking for a better value and higher screen resolutions.

Laptop arrived from Amazon 2 days earlier than first suggested, so I was very happy about that. Arrived with out a ding on the box. Great shape.

Got this two days ago. My first impression was I was horrified how cheap it looked. I was afraid to break it lifting it from the box. The body is just cheap thin plastic. It seemed to bend dangerously on the bottom just being held. The black color of the case is an ugly flat black, the whole finish is a gigantic finger print magnet.

It looks better with the cover up. The keyboard keys are a hair too small, but spaced good. I am very picky on keyboards, and it's been tolerable. I adore the back light on the keyboard as I often type in dark to dim rooms, it's great. I also keep the laptop plugged in usually so a short battery life won't bother me. I think it's about 2 hours something with the back-lighting.

Before I bought it I worried a lot about the off set touch pad due to the full number keypad. It hasn't bothered me. The touch pad can be hyper sensitive, readjusting the screen size on you. You just have to get comfortable on what it tolerates and lift your fingers a bit.

Cd players has worked well for programs installs.

The speed of the laptop is great coming from an i5 Sony Vaio, I can see the difference. Wifi works great. All ports I have tested so far are working well.

The laptop has remained cool to the touch after a full day of use. I'm not a gamer, I can just say the worst loading web pages actually opened fast and I've had about 18 programs open, nothing barfed.

I love the large screen size, have not watched a ton of video yet, but what little a saw I was some what surprised it didn't look as good as the 13 inch Sony Vaio we have. I'll update when I use that more, not being fair to evaluate it this early on when I am busy with so much else.

Laptop over all, outside the cheapness of the case I really like. I'd give it a 5 if not for the case.

Windows 8 is fast and a lot of useless eye candy. I like the operating system's speed, don't like the interface so I am busy customizing it. It seemed overwhelming yesterday, but much better today. It was effortless to set up the WiFi and Bluetooth and such. I guess I feel the same way about Windows 8 as I do the laptop. Great inside, hate the outside.

I am a IT manager in México City, in my last travel to USA I buy this laptop.

I was scared od the comments about the lack of turbo boost, I think are trolls, because mine have activated it and is used a lot!!! ( I have it 80% of thime over the 3 GHZ)

Recently made a upgrade, replacing the main HD whit a new SDD (256 MB SEAGATE) and let the original HD in a especial tray, in place of the DVD drive, I also buy a case to make the DVD drive external, so I can use it with an USB cable.

This is by far the best laptop I ever see (and use of course), I run badass things of my work, an takes all like nothing, even with databases (SQL SERVER).

I recommend it for non 3D graphics use, I have 3D games on it, but is not a gamer laptop, outside of the 3D graphics, you get a beast, and worth every penny.

I read some of the reviews and was hesitant about buying one then I went and looked at it and fell in love with the computer. I am a student at University of Phoenix online so I needed another computer. I have wanted a VAIO for years and they were to expensive. I LOVE THIS COMPUTER!!!!!!!!

I own a couple of this model ,for 2 months now ,got it from office depot for $700.00 a piece ,Pros good quality build, i7 quad cores 8 treads is more than capable on any task I put this machine through, keyboard is very responsive, dual harddrive compartments ,screen quality better that my 17 inch toshiba satelite, 6 gig ram is big enough memory I push this computer to the limit and it will only use a bout 4 gig of ram space so no need to waste your money on upgrading your ram to more than 6 gig ,also the i7 quadcores 8 hypertrades cores is alot of cores if your doing basic stuff your only ganna use about 3 to 4 treads at a time ,unless your using it for photoshop CS5 ,photoshop ligthroon 4.0 or gaming then 4 to 6 threads will start to kick in ,but if you used any 3D programs like ZBrush or Maya ,then you will start to used 6 to 8 threads but still it wont even used more than 60 percent CPU power because you have 8 cores spreading the load ,so unless your into 3d stuff you really dont need the i7 ,the i5 will do great and youll save some of that hard earn money ,even the AMD A8 quadcore series APU models will also be powerful enough ,the way I see it i7 quadcore 8 threads models are for people who have money to waste or for people who thinks its really that much of a defferent when it comes to power ,but I believe its all about tricking you people to spend more money ,beware do not spend more money on things that you dont even need ,the reason why I bought this computer is to test the power and because I work on computers to be familiar with latest stuff,Cons the hard drive is only 5400rpm having 7200rpm would be better ,the harddrive tend to heat up because of lacking ventalation holes and the harddrive is pack so tight in the first comparment, simple fix take the harddrives cover drill bigger holes ,also transfer the harddrive from first to the second compartment because it has more space to cool down, also be careful on taking out and put in the harddrive Ram cover back ,its very fragile almost impossible to take out and put back in with out damaging the pigs that hold it in place ,to take the cover out push the battery release to the opposite side that will help push the harddrive-Ram cover out then just grab and pull slowly ,installing it back in , the last part that came off is the first one to go in if your not sure what your doin dont atempt or youll just damage the cover pigs and it will never stay back in ....

HP has very good customer service. I bought used laptop and found that the battery doesn't work. I called HP and they helped me to solve the problem. Now I don't have any complains. It works fast and doesn't overheat.

The only CON is the bottom cover you must be VERY careful removing it. Pins are very fragile and it's easy to break them.

I have owned this laptop for several months and it has a wonderful i7 processor, plenty of memory and a large hard drive. The 17 inch monitor and keyboard is great for editing Excel, Word and PowerPoint presentations along with watching movies. The speakers are good, too! Most importantly, the battery life gets 8-9 hours of continuous use depending on what is running. Overall, I highly recommend this laptop if you want a powerhouse, portable computer.

I bought this one today from Micro Center. Everithing is looking good. Sound is perfect. BUT my built-in camera does not work, at all. I spent six hour trying to make it turn on... nothing. I called to HP, they said I need to send it to them, so they can see what's wrong with it. It will take a couple weeks to have it back. Tomorrow I'm going back to Micro Center and I'll change it to the same. I really like it. 4 stars for now

I was a desktop owner for over 6 years. This is my first laptop, but I did a lot of research before deciding on this one and I am overall very happy with the purchase.

I really love the new processor, is is very quiet and the laptop is much cooler, although I still use a cooling fan and recommend one. The keyboard is flat and quiet, but is prone to trapped dust and particles and super hard to clean, so don't eat or take this around food. I recommend the specially made for this laptop silicone keyboard covers, Sony offers them in a variety of nice colors including matching mouse covers for Sony mouses only. Another great feature is the blu-ray player, and lit LCD screen, I wish they would have included a light up keyboard and fingerprint pass-code device. The laptop itself is lightweight, sleek and shiny, but the attractive finish is also very prone to fingerprints and beware! don't wipe with any alcohol as it will damage the finish.

Windows 7 is a great improvement, I love the convenient and much faster start search tool and the customization options are wide (important for a artist and visual person like myself), but there is still a whole lot of room for improvement as far as security issues are concerned.

Positive+

Intel i3 Core processor

500GB/4GB space

Bright, light up LCD screen

Energy Star approved

Blu Ray player

Sleek and lightweight

Keyboard and mouse customization options

Windows 7

Negative-

Although it's much cooler than all my friends laptops, it still requires a fan

Very much prone to fingerprints on exterior and screen, use only cloth to wipe

No outer volume buttons/controls

3, not 4 usb spaces

Keyboard prone to trap small particle

No light up keyboard

No fingerprint password logon

I did alot of research before purchasing this laptop! I determined that I would buy this one and I have to say, I think I made a wise decision.Almost everything about this computer exceeded my expectations. The Windows 7 is really awesome. I also like the built in WEBCAM and the BLU-RAY features. Definitely deserves a 5 Star Rating to me.

Best Deals for Sony 15.5" VAIO VPCEB15FM/T Laptop 4GB Notebook 500GB Computer PC

I originally posted a positive review about this product. I must have been out of my mind....

While I do like a lot of things about this PC, it has had a couple of very specific issues from the day I purchased it, and they just don't seem to be abating.

I thought I could live with them, but, I think I've just about had it with the problems I'm experiencing. After getting fed up today, I decided to check out the forums on Sony's website to see if there were others with similar issues. It doesn't seem like there is much of a community there, which I take to mean that not many people buy their products, at least computer products. The other thing I noticed was that everyone that did manage to post, was either blown off by the "support," or was told to follow the same sorts of ridiculously useless procedures again and again, even when they had clearly stated that they'd already attempted such measures. Overall, it seemed like most people were a bit miserable and didn't have good results with Sony support. So, I guess I can expect the same thing, when I put the call in soon to make the complaint about my laptop.

First off, there is some sort of problem with the touch-pad having a bit of a mind of its own, and it does this frequently and at random. Others have complained about the same exact issue, even with different models of laptops. This certainly did bother me for a while, and another reviewer, for a similar laptop on Amazon, posted his thoughts on the issue because he's experiencing the same thing. In my case, this doesn't bother me so much anymore because I run all external equipment, keyboard, mouse, displays, and speakers. Everything is wired in, and everything is quality. I've never had problems with any of my other devices.

That said, the issue that is driving me crazy, I can't quite put my finger on. I'm not much of a computer guy, so I won't try to diagnose it. In any case, it's completely arbitrary and random, and has happened ever since I first got the thing, with or without devices, running many or few programs, etc. It happens every single day, multiple times a day, and sometimes continuously. What I'm talking about is almost a "stutter" or a slight hesitation for very brief but ongoing periods. Everything will freeze for just a few seconds, and then come back and be fine. My cursor will freeze and I won't be able to do anything. If I'm playing music, it'll stutter for the same period. Then, just as if nothing ever happened, it snaps back to normal. It might happen a few times in a day, or it might happen over and over again. Today was one of those "over and over again" days, which is why I decided I'd had enough, posted about the problem on the Sony forums, decided to change my review to warn others, and plan to call support and raise hell. Granted, my machine is only 5 months old, and I've taken exceptional care of it. But, honestly, my laptop from last year, an HP, out-performs this one, and it's got a crack in it, due to a body slam I proceeded to give my luggage (containing it) when I missed a flight....

By the way, I didn't by it from Amazon, so this in no way reflects Amazon quality assurance, their customer service, or any of the sellers selling it. However, I only wish I had, because I could have just returned the thing right way without a hassle. Instead, I bought it from some retail store because I was in a jam, out of state, and had fried my keyboard to my HP. It was on sale, and seemed like good value, and I needed something ASAP. However, I've since replaced the keyboard on my HP for ~$20!!! I only wish I'd known, I might have waited. And as I said, my HP of old handles more than this thing can manage. It also doesn't have any idiosyncrasies like this machine does.

In my opinion, look elsewhere for your computing needs.

I will update though, once I get done dealing with Sony support. (Also, I don't know if I mentioned, but this thing is currently ~5 months old at this time of writing, 12/1/2010.)

Honest reviews on Sony 15.5" VAIO VPCEB15FM/T Laptop 4GB Notebook 500GB Computer PC

I purchased this laptop through The Goodguys. No one, including The Geek Squad, could give me enough information with which to make an informed decision, so I read reviews online. I selected the Sony VPCEB15FM. It was rated highly. I got my new laptop home, only to find the mousepad randomly moves my cursor all over the screen while I'm trying to type. This is VERY annoying. So I sent the laptop to Sony to have the problem addressed. They sent it back with a new hard drive and optical drive. The cursor problem, however, was still occurring. All I wanted to know was how I might disable the mousepad. Afterward, Sony said I'd have to spend another $99 to "diagnose" my computers problems. Gosh! Didn't I JUST send them my laptop for a diagnosis and repair? Apparently, they didn't think so. My computer still has the same problem, the warranty is expired and now Sony says it's not their problem. All this after they brag about their "excellent customer service". I own several Sony products which have served me well, until this piece of garbage, boat anchor of a laptop.

If you don't use your laptop for writing with the keyboard then this isn't a bad unit. But if you intend to write with your laptop... Forget about it!

So thank you,Sony, for being disingenuous with regard to your products and service policy, or lack thereof. I will NEVER buy another Sony product, due to the convoluted view of what Sony refers to as "customer service". They apparently have no concept of what those two words mean, unless "service" is a metaphor.

I order a 14" Ibook, and i am stunned! This Ibook may be considered out dated...BUT is really great for every day use! Sure you may need to set up for your first Internet's use... but when every thing is all done and put in it is well worth it! I used to be a windows person, but now that i found what i have been missing for rek. time, it feels fun to be on a computer again. AND to top things off most of the service i have been receiving on this product is AMAZING! I ran into a bump with the product its self(battery was no good)i am currently working on getting one...is on the way not at my expense... This is a must have laptop at the price along with uses... This lap top comes with the software you need... you don't need any other software... because its everything you need. I was really hoping this thing wouldn't replace my windows and something to give to my older brother for school. but this devise belly's up to the bar, now i just want to throw away that windows 7. it my be a down grade of software, it is smooth it is speedy.

The product its self comes neatly packed, BEAUTIFUL and clean... devise which i expected had some usage on it but grate. i really appreciate the seller: Narby-Ken I am in-pressed. JUST SO EVERYBODY knows i am not being paid for this review.

This Review was made on a Apple Ibook G4! Great devise!

Honest reviews on Used iBook G4/1.42 GHz, 512 MB of RAM, 60 GB internal drive

Besides the fact that the iBook did not come with the Classic Environment installed as advertised, it has run flawlessly for three months.

I love the keyboard, it works perfectly with a two button mouse and scrollbutton, and it does a bootable backup to a Firewire external drive using Silverkeeper.

Tiger is a very nimble operating system and runs in 1/3 the ram as my iMac and actually surfs the web faster than my iMac.

It's a great little compact computer.

This isn't the perfect laptop. I know it and it's my first one. There are many this it can't do, so make sure you know the details before buying it. But i find that it is perfect for my needs. I has Microsoft office, I can watch youtube, movies (with the dvd) surf the web and the seller even had final cut pro which was a bonus.

Recommendation for future owners:

Consider updating to mac OS 10.5 and up (preferably work it out with your seller) Mine came with 10.4.11 which works, but a lot of software I've tried to download require 10.5.3 or so and up which gets frustrating. Thankfully Sims 2 works with even lower software than 10.4 which was something short of a miracle but do your research when looking for games and other software

I was looking around for a decent performance laptop for email / surfing and organizing pictures. I found this model on another site (also refurb) and checked amazon to compare. The store on amazon had it in stock for $80 less then anywhere else. I was skeptical as this store only had two products for sale. I figured my credit card would give me some protection so I ordered it. It came as promised and brand new condition. I checked the hardware list in the system and it was the exact laptop I ordered. The only issue I have is that it has windows 8. But that is not the fault of the machine or the seller. So, as long as it is not secretly sending my banking information to Al-Qaeda I am happy with it.

I got mine at Best Buy for $530 and consider that a great price for an i5 2.6GHz processor and 6GB of RAM, plus a touch screen. I was a bit surprised to hear that Cnet considers this a "thick" and "old looking" laptop maybe for a grand you can buy one that is thinner and "newer looking", but for $530 I didn't see anything that would match it.

Anyway, here is the good:

Screen picture quality: 1600X900 on a 14 inch screen equals pretty amazing high-def stuff.

Speed: running IE, Chrome and Office 2013 (I am not into gaming, so don't know how that would work or not)

WiDi wireless screen sharing (with compatible devices).

Build quality

Not so good:

Touch screen not responsive to gentle touches, you have to poke it pretty hard some times (don't have much to compare this to besides a smart phone).

Keyboard is a bit cramped if you are used to full size keyboards, but you get used to it.

Strange keyboard issue when USB mouse is plugged in CTRL key "sticks" (not physically but in software), so as you type it acts as if CTRL is pressed all the time (typing an "i" turns everything italic, and so on).

For $530 I thought it was a great deal, and has worked out pretty good so far :).

Best Deals for Lenovo Ideapad P400 14-inch Touchscreen Ultrabook (Graphite Gray)

After my Sony laptop was stolen, I embarked on a search for an affordable ultrabook or near-ultrabook style laptop. This was on sale at Best Buy for about $540 plus tax, and I thought I'd take a chance on it, but things didn't work out.

The Good:

Great screen for a machine in in this price range. 1600 x 900 resolution, and fairly good (not amazing) color saturation. Touch is fairly responsive, though single-taps require a fairly forceful touch.

Backlit keyboard is nice, even though the keyboard has shortcomings; more below.

Nice feature set/specs for a machine in this price range. i5 processor, 6GB Ram, 500GB Hard drive with a 24GB SSD for booting.

Boots quickly and is fairly snappy, thanks to the SSD.

Lots of ports.

Design, while cumbersome and thick (more below), feels sturdy and nearly indestructible, as long as you can live with the weight...

DVD/CD drive is a nice feature.

The Bad:

HEAVY. A laptop in this size range feels like a brick at 5.5 pounds. This was one of the deal breakers for me.

Mushy/erratic keyboard. The keyboard was missing keystrokes with fairly heavy typing, and you can visibly see it buckling even with light typing. The whole thing has a chintzy, mushy feel, and leads to a horrible typing experience.

Chintzy plastic touchpad; clicks feel hollow and wobbly. Supports two finger scroll, but not any other two-finger gestures (couldn't right-click with two finger tap, for example)

Battery Life: I eeked out about 3 hours on a good day; otherwise, battery life wasn't impressive.

Overall, the heavy weight, low battery life, and sub-par typing experience prompted a return from me. It's not a bad machine, with a nice middle-of-the-road touchscreen and great internal specs; but for a road machine, I needed better battery life and more portability.

Do not buy. This laptop lastes less than 2.5 years and for that kind of money I expected more. Turns out the problem is well known and yet they continued to sell this model. Before you buy, google hp pavilion dv7 won't wake up from sleep mode or dv7 won't boot up and read about it for yourself.

Loved this laptop until it just suddenly stopped working with no warning signs and no drops/spills/abuse/virus. Can't believe I spent over $700 and didn't even get 3 years out of it.

Hope this saves someone some money!

I certainly am not a computer geek and have no intention of trying to provide you with a technical breakdown of the unit. The computer does what it is supposed to do based on the specifications. ( Oops haven't tried the fingerprint reader, I forgot!) What I really wanted to convey in this review is the fact that the laptop was recertified, refurbished, remanufactured, whatever!!! Without reading that statement on the box, I would have told you I have brand new laptop. I am sure that there are people out there that would probably rather pull their own nails out rather than buy a recertified unit!! I just wanted to tell you this isn't my first recertified unit nor do I expect it to be my last. I do not fear recertified!! And I am suggesting that if you want to get the most bang for your buck, recertified is definitely the way to go. Now as sure as God made little green apples, there is going to be someone outside who has purchased a recertified unit that might have been DOA and they want my tongue. Well people, that happens to new unit too! I love my laptop and the many features that go with it. At least think about what I have suggested!! Happy computing!

Replacement was to be for family use primarily, with basic applications such as word processing, banking, shopping, browsing etc. So far, I have had no complaints. The I3 processor is quick enough for my needs, the system boots up very quickly (about 20 seconds or so a far cry from the Toshiba), and I've had no crashes or freezes so far. Build quality could have been a bit better....this Dell feels....well, delicate. You don't feel like it can take any sort of abuse...which is not a real issue with me because it remains on my dining room table anyway. Dedicated numeric keypad is a definite plus, along with USB 3.0 connectivity, Bluetooth and WIDI. Overall, a competent and capable family laptop,

I bought this laptop from Dell direct a little while ago. I am quite pleased with it. This is my third laptop, the first Dell laptop, although I have bought many Dell desktops over the past 10 years, both for personal use and for the company I worked for. I have never been disappointed with Dell quality and this is no exception thus far. I had an issue because I was promised a complimentary 15 month subscription for McAfee as part of the package, but when I activated McAfee, they only activated it as a trial version for 3 months. Sent an email to Dell support and their response was immediate and effective. McAfee was activated for 15 months in a matter of hours.

I don't understand why people gripe about the keyboard. I have no issues with it. I even had to remove it to bump the memory up to 8GB and everything kept working just fine when I replaced it. The only criticism I have is the fact that the indicator LEDs are on the side of the unit, out of sight of the user. This was a stupid design decision by Dell.

The machine has all the horsepower I need for my work (mostly software development). I don't use it for games my machines work for a living, they are not toys. You cannot reasonably expect better performance at this price. If you want better performance, expect to pay more.

I will buy it again if it ever became necessary.

This is the first laptop that I have owned and really tried putting in the time in finding just the right one for me. I believe I have done that with this Dell Inspiron. Features that I was looking for included screen size, weight, variety of hookups and the memory card readers ability to read many different cards. It has only been a month since this typing but I am extremely satisfied with this laptop. Thanks, LRE

This laptop was purchased for my child and worked well. After 7 months the hard drive crashed and couldn't be booted. A call to support took awhile after being shuffled around determined that the drive needed to be replaced. A box was to be mailed to send computer back to company. After a week and no box I called again. They told me that no box was sent and they could send a box (after I went through the entire set of problems again) but it would take 4-6 weeks to get the computer back. For $40 I could have someone come out to the house and fix it in 2 days. I bit the bullet and the tech came out and fixed it. He was quick and the computer came back to life after decompressing (2 hours). Of course everything was lost on the computer and we had to start all over loading itunes and every other piece of software. Lost all documents, mail, etc. Do those backups your computer may fail 6 months in and not 3 years in.

BTW my other child has a Dell also (3 years older) and it started getting really hot and shutting down. While the tech was here I mentioned that to him and he suggested we pull the cover off and see if lint was collecting near the fan and heatsink. He was right on pulled a little hairy mouse ball out and the computer works like a charm. Remember to get that compound/paste for the heat-sink if you remove it.

I've only had this for a few days but this seems to be a quality machine. I've owned 6 computers so far, 2 desktops and 3 laptops before this, and this seems to blow them all away. It has a button you can push that will take it back to the original factory settings, the same as the day I received it. Which is fine for me as I always have important things backed up on disks anyway. It is blistering fast and the 17 inch display is excellent. I called tech support the day I received it and was on the phone with someone who spoke english as well as I do in under a minute, who answered everyone of my questions and walked me through everything I needed. This is my first experience with Lenovo and I'm really liking this product and this company.

Have had this Laptop for a month now. I simply love it. I have no complaints except one. It came with Macafee. I had Norton 360 that I wanted to put on this machine. Just could not get it too install. Norton tried and tried and tried. No luck. In fact they messed it up trying to fix it that I used the feature that came with this unit the 1 key restore.

This is awesome if your pc does not load or you get a problem. Just shut it off press the 1 key button next to the power button and will restore your pc to factorey state. Now you will lose everything but hey if you use have files that are important you should save them to an external drive anyone.

I bought acronis software and that backs up my whole pc but I love this PC

OH one thing I do hate it is a fingerprint magnet.....get ready to wipe it down constantly

Oh, by the way I was successful in upgrading this model to Windows 8 I like Windows 8! The PC boots up faster runs fine. Make sure you run the Windows Upgrade tool but I had no problems. I don't know if my one key recovery will work guess I will have to wait and see. Thanks

I've had no less then half-a-dozen notebooks in my lifetime. This Lenovo G780 tops them all.

It powers up in a flash and has many pre-loaded Lenovo helps. One of the best is the Lenovo Solution Center.

It came with 6GB of ram and I quickly upgraded it to 16GB. I know, specs say only 8GB maximum but not true. The two sticks of 8GB installed like a breeze and was instantly recognized.

The keyboard is large enough to be comfortable/not crowded. Keys have a definite snap to them making them ease to use.

The only quirk I don't like is the touch pad seems to get in the way when it's active...moving the cursor at random if you accidentally brush your thumb across it. Ah! Easily solved by hitting the Function Key and F6 to turn off the pad. Once the machine 'wakes' from sleep, the pad is active again.

I use a wireless mouse however; if you wish to use the touch pad, it operates flawlessly. ..very sensitive, and large enough to have full the range of control.

Getting inside the machine to replace or upgrade is a snap. One panel exposes most of the 'workings', no more "This little panel here or this little panel there"

That lovely 17inch screen is near HD quality. I watch movies a lot and with a set of Bose headsets, it's better than being at the theater.

This is one of the best. Buy it and you won't have any regrets.

I bought one with slightly higher spec 8gb RAM

Take 40 sec to resume from hibernating state

60 + 15 to boot

Monitor not as colorful as my other cheaper Asus

Freeze randomly for 2,3 sec

Otherwise no problem, a jack of all trade.

Scroll and type well!

I think next time I'll buy an Entertainment Asus and see

It stated clearly that this laptop was upgraded to 8gb ram, but the machine only has 2gb of ram. Would love to have the other 6gb of ram to improve performance.

compared to my 3 yr old HP laptop, this is a great machine!!! The one quirk is that the touchpad is too far to the left of center so my palm keeps touching it and bringing the screen back to whatever I was previously doing in Windows 8. Finding my way back has been no problem, just inconvenient...
