I had a PC which was not as powerful as this notebook is supposed to be, but had to leave it in my country.

I had that PC for almost 3 years, and it was working WAY better than this notebook. The notebook sometimes crushes when all I have is google chrome open with, lets say, around 15 tabs, and maybe windows media player, and when it comes back from hivernating it takes no less than 2 minutes to begin working properly.

Besides, the battery life is a joke, using wifi (just mails and maybe some web surfing, no videos or whatsoever) and excel (basic, nothing too demanding) it won't even last for 2 hours.

I bought the smaller ASUS because I wanted a light lightweight, and because I didn't think I needed much of a keyboard. I'm a MAC nut, but was absolutely flabbergasted to find this little gem has a great keyboard, can be dropped in my purse (my MODEST sized purse along with my Kindle), and I am armed for the 30 (130) minute pharmacy waits, doctor waits, my husband-in-Lowe's waits. In other words, I'm a happy camper, and my camping is happy due to my 8.9" Asus.

Long may it wave!

I was looking for a nice, inexpensive laptop for my old daughter. This fit the bill......It was light weight, compact and perfect for her hand size. She gets the internet anywhere there is wireless without pushing a button. The drive size is nice for her pictures and the program, Xp is full size and works like your regular desktop. I reccomend this to everyone who has a child under 14 or so where they probably want something bigger. I have seen more expensive but this fit the bill and then some and was nicely priced. May not work for an adult small keyboard.

This little PC rocks. I got it for my nephew and it is working perfectly. He plays his online kiddies game and his mom watches her soap on it. The fact that the OS is XP is a plus.

I got this laptop less than two years ago. After less than one year, I was already having problems. When I start the computer, it gets to the home screen, then freezes. I've taken this to several computer repair places, and no one can find the problem. I've put >$400 into trying to repair this problem, when I should have just gotten a new laptop right off the bat. Now, about 6 months ago, the charger stopped working. It has to be at the exact precise spot in order for my computer to charge, and it really is a pain that I can't take it anywhere. I've also had a problem with a few of the keys falling off the keyboard. Now, recently, my right click button on the touchpad has stopped working, and I can't copy/paste or download anything without a wireless mouse. Finally, I've been having trouble downloading files. Overall, this computer is cheap, not worth the $1000 I paid for it, and there are just too many unacceptable problems I've had with it within 2 years. I am getting a new laptop and will never get a Sony again.

I bought this laptop at BestBuy with the blu ray player included and I can say that is a little bit overpriced due to the 1st generation processor, but I can't complain about performance, the video isn't that great but overall is a nice looking laptop. The power button location might be a pain when holding the laptop in your hands.

Three days after the warranty ended the laptop just went off for no apparent reason, contacted sony and the cheapest way to fix it was dropping about $600.00 to replace a motherboard.

Very disappointed about sony warranty policy, Im gonna stick with dell since they are easier and cheaper to fix,

Wanted a 13.3" laptop, something smaller than my 17.3" Toshiba and larger than my Acer Netbook. The 17.3 is too big for travel and netbook has several limitations and requires external drives. Started looking for a reasonable 13.3" but found this HP dv5-2135 DX midsize unit is slightly larger (.5" wider) than a 13.3" and had everything I was looking for, so I ordered it.

When it arrived my first impression was it was physically larger than I thought and I too at first had a hard time with the sensative touchpad. But was soon relieved when I compared it side by side with the 13.3" and I have aclimated to using the touchpad, yes it is different from those used in the past. Learned to use only one finger as the buttons are part of the pad. The screen is very bright which is good for persons of a certain age, ha ha. Contrary to some others comments, I really like the keyboard it has good key spacing for my large fingers, is positive to the touch and I very seldom missed keystrokes compared to the high dollar Toshiba! The wiFi has been flawless so I can't understand why someone complained unless they had a lemon.

Now, was this the perfect laptop? Has anyone ever found the perfect laptop? In my application it's as perfect as it get's and I would highly reccomend it.

If I didn't have the learning curve with the touchpad I'd give it five stars, I gave it four, as there is no way to give it 4.5 which is where I think it belongs.

omg. this is a great computer. the screen is bright. the speed is fantastic. the wifi is good. check your own router. all i can say is that it is a very good laptop. there are some things u need to know about this laptop. the battery lasts about 2 hours. the mouse is sensitive but thats good as u do not need to press hard to operate it. the sound is a little soft hence a reason for headphones jack. the keyboard is fine. it's called an island style keyboard.

so to sum it up very good laptop. have it about a 10 months. got it for university. works great for all my projects and etc. the entertainment aspect is great also.

games can work.

Nice screen, keys are well spaced so if you have larger hands this is just the ticket. The built in mouse is jumpy and just a pain. Buy this computer and plan on getting a usb mouse soon thereafter...

Honest reviews on Blue Hp 14.5" Pavilion Dv5-2135dx Entertainment Notebook Pc

Overall laptop build and performance is good.

But there are two major issues because of that it becomes a no buy

1. It makes too much noise and heats up very fast.

2. Audio output is not audible with all the noise process makes.

This can't be called an entertainment laptop if you can't even hear a thing in it.

you gotta be weary about ordering online, especially when it comes to computers. But my choice of the hp mini 110

was based purely on price, what i could afford, and for that, its pretty darn good. it was freshly restored by the seller

to factory condition meaning the hard drive was formatted and the operating system was completely reinstalled.

for me that is a must in a used computer. overall a great value for the budget minded student or parent.

I Work on a lot of Macbooks and I'm really not a huge fan of Airs and Pros. Logicboards seem to be real water magnets and it doesn't take a lot to end up with a fried board from a spill. Have ton of laptops and the opportunity came for me to buy one of these that had a bad Gatorade spill, so I did because I gave an i7 pro to a family member and needed an OSX. The older unibody style seems to hold up better to liquid than the newer pros. The heat generated and maybe weathering may lead to some cracking of the case in a few areas, but naturally heat will do that. Probably not a bad thing and allows some heat to dissipate. Easily sealed with electronic grade silicone, and besides, this Macbook was Afghanistan too, so I'm sure that didn't help. Just goes to show how durable it is, I guess.

That being said, here's what I did: Pulled the factory RAM and maxed it to 8GB. Pulled the factory 250GB HDD and installed a Seagate Momentus XT Hybrid HDD/SSD 750GB w/64mb cache (could've gone with a full SSD, but opted for more storage). Installed Snow Leopard. Now it runs like lightning. The OSX is nice and light, so it runs really fast. Noticed a huge difference. This model has great potential and is perfect for anyone who doesn't want to fork out a lot of money for an MBP. Since doing this, it's been one my favorite laptops to use.

Bought this computer to replace my powerbook that lasted for 6 years. This one hasn't lasted as long. The hard drive failed after a year and a half. I'm still happy with the product, Macs have served me well. Not getting into the whole Mac vs. PC debate, but if you like Macs, this is a good buy, hopefully with the new hard drive it will last me a few years.

I've had a 12" iBook G4 since 2005 and it's still my favorite notebook for browsing the internet, writing letters, and even reading pdf's. It's very lightweight and I consider the screen the perfect size. It's held up very well. One of the keys has a hairline crack and one of the rubber feet on the bottom fell off but I clean it every month or so and it still looks almost new.

My only criticism is that it gets a little warm so I keep it on top of a clipboard when holding it in my lap. No viruses, no crashes, no worries.

When netbooks started becoming popular a couple of years ago, I had to laugh because I already have a lightweight, handy netbook. In fact, I'm using it right now to write this review. Given a choice between a new Asus or Dell netbook or a used iBook G4 for the same price, I would take the G4 without thinking about it for a second.

I was getting this for an employee since she needs it for work...just to read and send emails and calendar use so I wasnt looking for a magnificent machine. It showed up FILTHY and I couldnt get it to connect to the internet. I took it into Apple and they told me it was put together with random parts and paying to have it operational wouldnt be worth it because it would go awry somewhere else in the machine and never work properly. It was also password secured so some important areas couldnt be reached to change settings (like the date from 1962)which wouldve affected any updates in th future

The seller refunded most of the cost (sans 24 dollars or so for mailing it), which they requested I dont send it back

Recently I purchased a different version of this HP DV6 laptop for my mother-in-law and I looked at this model during that process (all HP DV6 laptop models share a common chassis and only vary on a few components). The first thing about the DV6 line that impressed me was the build quality. It is well constructed with a metallic toned black plastic exterior. Take a good look at the shell art since it is something that may not appeal to everyone but my mother-in-law definitely appreciated having something a little more individual than the usual dull grey exterior. Despite the glossy exterior we haven't noticed much in the way of finger prints or any scratches despite the helping hands of our kids who love to "help" grandma with her computer.

The specs for this model are aimed at someone focused on web browsing and office type applications who wants superb battery life:

CPU The Core 2 duo is the best performing notebook CPU on the market and the T6500 included with this computer is a mid-range Core2 Duo (2.1 GHZ w/2MB cache). It can handle two threads which means you can have the virus scanner running while you surf the web with no noticeable slowdown. It's not the highest performing CPU out there today but it's far above what you need for non-gaming tasks and it has a enough performance head-room to keep your computer from becoming outdated anytime soon.

RAM The 4GB of RAM is combined with a 64bit OS to which should provided more than enough memory for pretty much any application you can think of outside of extremely high end gaming.

HDD 320GB plenty is far more space than you need now but again, I like the future proofing. Some people may not like that it is 5400 RPM vs. 7200 RPM but the performance difference for home users is nearly zero and the reliability of 5400 RPM drives makes me prefer them in notebooks which are hard on hard disks (because they move around while in use notebook HDDs suffer far more failures than desktop drives)

Graphics While I am a fan of Intel CPUs their graphics performance has lagged the competition. The good news is that the integrated Intel 4500MHD graphics controller in this model is a step up from previous Intel offerings and all most home users will need. I still wouldn't recommend you try and run graphics hungry 3-D games on it but it's fine for playing videos, surfing the web, doing light gaming, and running office applications.

Display I like this 15.6" display though I got my mother-in-law the 16" version of the DV6. While a little smaller than what I settled on it is far superior to the 14-15" screens you usually see in this price range.

Sound Surprisingly good sound for a notebook. The speakers are well positioned and deliver a good range. I've heard better but it was on a $3K notebook.

Battery For years the retail notebook market has been plagued with cheap six cell and even four cell batteries that could barely deliver 90 minutes of real computing use. To see HP bundle a 12 cell Li-Ion battery in with this notebook is hopefully a sign the industry is recognizing that notebook users want good battery life. With a 12 cell battery you can realistically plan to go all day without plugging in. This does add slightly to the weight but few users will notice. You will be hard pressed to find another laptop in this price range with a batter this good. Most will have a 6 cell.

I don't have any serious "cons" for this computer. The "Touch Media Controls" for things like the volume (as opposed to buttons you push) are a little odd at first but we got used to them quickly and hey, they look cool when they light up.

To wrap it all up: a good computer for home users who don't plan on running high-end games and who looking for something with above average build quality and really good battery life.

Note: I was going to buy this laptop from Amazon but I saw the same model at Office Depot for $650.

CPU The T6500 is great for General usage. It's okay for gaming and HD playback too.

RAM 4GB makes multitasking a breeze

Hard Drive The main partition is 285GB with a 12.5GB recovery partition. 285GBs is a nice size to work with too it'll take long, long time to fill that up.

Graphics The 4500MHD is okay for light gaming like Counter-Strike. It also does HD playback fine.

Sound This laptop has great speakers. They don't get too loud but that's fine. The quality of the sound is great.

Battery Will last a good long while and is better than most laptops. Most laptops have 6 cell batteries, this one has a 12 cell. Also the battery sticks out from the bottom. Some people may not like it but it is also a good thing because heat won't get stuck under the laptop.

Heat This laptop will get warm from extended use. It gets slightly uncomfortable to type on because of it. It's not really that bad though.

Keyboard This laptop is easy to type on. I can type really fast on it. It is a full keyboard with a numpad so most of your keys are there.

The Home, End, Pgup, PGdown, keys are above the trackpad and delete is above the backspace.

Trackpad The trackpad may seem a little hard to move on at first but after a while it becomes smooth. You can also turn it on and off with a button conveniently placed above it if you want to use a mouse. It also has a scroll bar.

Other Thoughts This laptop has 2 head phone hacks. Both are in the front. I'd prefer one in the front then one in the side or back for speakers.

HP Logo on the cover lights up when the laptop is on. This annoys me when I leave my laptop on overnight and I have to put something over the light to cover it because it's kinda bright.

The remote it comes with is kind of small and it can be difficult to push the buttons but it still is a nice addition so I don't have to get up and pause, skip, etc. on the keyboard.

NOTE: This laptop only has the touch volume controls and a touch wifi button. There is no Play, Pause, Stop, etc. touch buttons on this model. That was kind of a disappointment because I have to press Fn+F12 if I want to change songs.

Overall this a great laptop and I am pleased with my purchase

Best Deals for HP Pavilion DV6-1230US 15.6-Inch Entertainment Laptop

I purchased this for my college bound daughter. I had it up and running for her in under 20 minutes that includes the time it took me to get the wireless internet. This laptop has a very artsy cover that will make any student look extra cool.

Great Things about this laptop for your student:

Size: It's light enough to carry around but still sturdy. I suggest a targus messanger bag.

Battery: 12 cell battery will keep you going most of the day. It does stick out the back some, so your laptop is not as skinny as it would be with a smaller battery.

Power/Speed: This laptop is fast. I was impressed with how fast it would start up and run all the applications. There's lots of ram and the graphics are awesome.

Software: There is a 2 month trial version of Windows Office for students. If you want to keep it, all you have to do is enter your serial number (can be purchased online), there's no long install.

DVD : No need to have a TV too, watch your DVDs on this laptop! Even has a tiny remote control.

Huge Hard Drive: 320 gigs. You could use it for years without deleting anything.

User Input: The keyboard is great. It is a full keyboard and the keys only require a light touch. You can input a lot of information quickly. The trackpad is a little annoying, but I prefer a mouse. My daughter likes it.

Overall, this is a great buy. My daughter loves hers and it meets the requirements of all the colleges in this area.

Honest reviews on HP Pavilion DV6-1230US 15.6-Inch Entertainment Laptop

Others have posted comprehensive reviews, so I just want to add a note about the battery that I don't think any of the reviews so far have mentioned.

There is a plug in the 12-cell battery which permits you to charge the battery separate from the laptop -just plug it into the charger. The very first laptop I ever owned, a WinBook, had this feature and I have been amazed that it is not standard in every laptop. The battery even has it's own flashing light to indicate the charging status.

With a second battery, this makes life a lot easier. For example, when I'm at an all-day deposition, I don't need to bring and run an extension cord from a wall socket to the conference table out of concern that my battery will die. Rather, I can just use the laptop with the battery while I charge another battery at a wall socket across the room. Get a spare power brick ($11 on ebay), and you can just plug in the battery to charge at night like you charge your cell phone, without having to pull out your laptop and charger.

So my ASUS netbook which I absolutely loved and took everywhere with me died. The latest selection of netbooks didn't excite me so I decided to upgrade to this model. The price is what sold me initially; the touchscreen seemed like a silly thing that I wouldn't use much. But after a day of using this side by side with an older laptop I was restoring, I was convinced. I now find myself touching the screens of all my computers. It's definitely the only way to use Windows 8.

I use this for home finance, web surfing, some word processing and a little video, photo and sound editing. The keys are a little small and take some getting used to. I am a touch typist and find the small keys a little annoying. Also the case edges are sharp and since the base is a bit wider than my old netbook It slips around a bit more on my lap. And the built-in battery does concern me; I hope when the time comes that replacing it won't be difficult.

Sound is acceptable I watch Netflix while working in the kitchen and it's loud enough (much better than my netbook). The unit has 3 USB ports, SD slot and HDMI port. I have used this to stream videos to my projector and quality is excellent.

Battery life is long enough for my use; surfing and watching occasional video at home. It's made a couple of plane trips and I've managed enough battery to watch movies. It's so small and thin that I take it everywhere. And the AC adapter is not much larger than my phone charger very convenient.

If I were doing serious typing I might hook up an external keyboard but for what I do it's perfect. Also due to constant touching the screen shows smudges but that's not the fault of the design clean your hands or use a stylus if that bugs you!

The touchpad was very jumpy at first but a Windows update seems to have taken care of that.

I seem to be one of the few people who paid $499 for this at Best Buy (it's been $449 pretty much since Christmas). You won't find a touchscreen system that can come close for the price.

Let me tell you about my Asus laptop / Amazon experience. I found this laptop at a great price on Amazon and decided to order it. It arrived quickly even using super-saver (free) shipping, however once I opened it I realized it had been damaged during shipping. I turned it on and it worked great, but the case was dented/damaged so I decided to send it back. I was already anticipating having to fight with Amazon when I contacted them using the chat feature and ‘spoke' with Richard to see what could be done.

Amazon, listen up – Richard is the single most important reason I will be recommending Amazon to my friends and family.

Richard took the time to listen to my story and assisted me in exchanging my defective laptop and getting the replacement . . . actually, I had to return the defective one to get a refund then repurchase the replacement but to my pleasant surprise Richard made it just about painless. Richard sent me a link to print out the prepaid shipping label and expedited my order so I was only without my laptop for 1 day. It's service like this that keeps me coming back . . . I'll definitely recommend Amazon. It's this kind of action we need in the White House! ;-)

Anyway, about the laptop – you're probably not going to find a better deal on a Windows 8 laptop with a touch screen feature anywhere else (Best Buy sometimes has it on sale). The Q200E-BSI3T08 has a quick 1.8 GHz Intel Core i3-3217U processor (3rd generation), 4 GB of DDR3 memory, a 500 GB hard drive, a 1.0 MP webcam, a USB 3.0 port, wireless LAN (802.11n) and a built-in 10/100/1000 (Gigabit) network card. Please note – the screen is an 11.6" WXGA display and there is NO optical drive (no CD/DVD drive) so you'll need to use an external CD/DVD drive. Also, the 4 GB of ram is soldered in so you can't expand it and the battery is not removable (you'll have to take the laptop apart to change the battery).

First thing I did was to follow JDHodges.com Asus Q200E hard drive upgrade website (you can Google it) and replaced the 500 GB hard drive with a Samsung 840 Pro solid state drive (SSD). The SSD made a big difference in performance and battery consumption and my Asus now boots up and is ready to go in about 8 seconds. I didn't have a copy of Windows 8 for a clean install so I used the Samsung Data Migration software to bring everything over from the original hard drive. The Samsung Magician software also makes it easy to optimize/tune my new SSD and monitor drive health. Both software titles are included with the SSD or it can be downloaded from the Samsung website for free. FYI it will only work with Samsung SSD drives (it checks).

Next I swapped out the wireless card for the Intel Network 6235AN.HMWWB Centrino Wi-Fi card. This card is dual band (Advanced-N) and includes Bluetooth. It ran about $22 from Amazon with free shipping. You'll need another antenna for the dual band so I also ordered a pair of laptop wireless mini-PCI-E internal antennas (ASIN: B004ZHT2JE) from Amazon for about $10 including shipping.

Now I have a touch-screen Windows 8 laptop that rocks! It's super light (about 3 pounds), boots in less than 10 seconds, has a decent processor with a solid state hard drive (no worries about bumps) with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and is only 0.9" thin! Because of the new SSD hard drive efficiency – battery consumption has improved, but you'll probably get between 3.5 to 4 hours of use depending on your usage. I loaded Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Outlook) and Visual Studio and they work great no issues so far.

I've only had this laptop for a about a month so I'll update my review in a few months if things change.

Best Deals for Asus - 11.6" Windows 8 Touch-Screen Laptop - Q200E-BSI3T08

I've been loving my laptop I'm sorry some people had a bad experience and I'm grateful mine laptop is working just fine. I love the touchscreen comes in handy for a couple of things specially scrolling. Didn't have to install anything to use my printer it found it right away lol I was so happy. And the battery last enough. One time it says the remaining time was 6 hours which I doubt any battery could last that long but if i HAD to choose a length of time I would say 4 hours but don't quote me on it I'm not sure. I find myself using windows 8 wit ease. If i don't know how to do something or where to find something I google it! i advise you to do the same once you find how to do something you realize is really easy. o your research of the seller ratings so you feel sure of who you are buying from.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have several traditional laptops and an HP Ultrabook to compare this to, and it does quite well. The Ultrabook is all the rage now, and they tend to be amazing, but there are a couple of requirements to be an "Ultrabook" that this computer does not meet. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as I will explain.

First off, the term "Ultrabook," is owned by Intel, so since this has an AMD chip, it cannot be an Ultrabook. The AMD chip in this computer, however, is a quad-core lightning beast for a laptop, so you really aren't losing out there. For your every day programs, this performed a little faster than my Gateway and Lenovo Windows 7 laptops and only slightly slower than my i5 HP Envy Spectre XT Ultrabook. The slight difference in performance is likely due to the second Ultrabook requirement, a solid state drive.

Having a solid state drive can really speed things up, but it also significantly adds to the production cost. So, for an almost imperceptible difference in speed, you get far less drive space with a solid state drive. In my case, the HP Ultrabook has a 128 GB drive, while this HP Sleekbook has a 500 GB drive. If you use a lot of music and movies, the choice is already clear. The only other place where the solid state drive comes into play is boot time.

My Gateways boot to Windows 7 in 65 seconds. My Lenovo does the same in 46 seconds. This HP Sleekbook boots to Windows 8 in 40 seconds. The Ultrabook? Four seconds! OK, once you get past that amazing stat, ask yourself how many times you tend to re-boot your laptop? It really shouldn't be that often, and with the tweaks of Windows 8, even many updates won't require a reboot. Therefore, once I got past the part where I was rebooting my Ultrabook just to show off to people how fast it boots up, I was using it the same way as this Sleekbook. In other words, don't let the difference in boot time sway you away from this Sleekbook.

Another requirement for an Ultrabook is a unibody design which means no optical drive. The Sleekbook follows this pattern, so there is no optical drive. If there is a deal-breaker for many people, this may be it. You can download all the Windows 8 apps from the app store, but your legacy software will have to be loaded some other way. If you have other computers, this isn't a problem. If this will be your only computer, it may be a problem for you.

At 4.6 pounds, this is significantly lighter than my other standard laptops, but also significantly heavier than the Ultrabook. The comparison, however, is more fair to the standard laptops because it matches their screen sizes (it isn't fair to compare the weight of a 15" screen to a 13" screen). Therefore, this is actually a pretty light and portable computer.

The 15" screen is bright and clear, and really a joy to watch. Movies play flawlessly, and the crawl at the bottom of ESPN3 doesn't jitter at all! As for games, well this is one area where this Sleekbook really beats the other computers, including the Ultrabook. It handles some graphically intensive games like Star Trek Online at the highest video settings without the slightest problem. Again, there is no optical drive, so you are limited in your gaming options. If you have a game that checks to see if the disk is in the drive before you can play, you will be out of luck.

Like many HP products, this comes with Beats Audio. It has four speakers and it actually has a sub woofer of sorts. Nevertheless, while it sounds better than any other laptop, there is only so much you can do with so little speaker space. Attach a pair of decent headphones, however, and the audio soars!

Battery life is amazing. I've gotten over four and a half hours while pushing it pretty hard. That's with factory default power settings, but playing an online game that pushed the graphics (Star Trek Online). For normal, non-gaming tasks, this computer clears the six hour mark easily without a charge. The battery is built in (again chasing the Ultrabook crowd), so you cannot change it on the fly, but you probably won't need to.

As for appearance, the red bottom with the brushed metal black top is a great look. Very unique. The rubbery bottom surface is great for grip, so it doesn't slide. About the only problem with the design is that the heat exhaust is from the bottom rather than the sides. As a result, if you put it on your lap with your legs together, they can get pretty hot. It has HP Cool Sense technology, so it will throttle the CPU and graphics if necessary to keep it cool. Also, with the accelerometer, it is able to tell whether the computer is on your lap or on a table. It will throttle performance a bit to keep cool on your lap while going flat out on a table. The accelerometer also provides protection to the hard drive in the event of a drop. If you drop this computer, it will save your data (although it will probably break the screen).

On a final note, it is running Windows 8. This means the Metro interface and multitouch capabilities. The touchpad handles the interface very well. Windows 8 is still not perfect, but this is the best implementation I have come across. Nevertheless, I set this up initially for two users. When I removed one of those user accounts, I had some trouble with Windows, and it eventually died in an update. This required me to perform a full factory reset. This is a fault of Windows 8, not of this computer. The reset did take 17 hours to complete. That was pretty bizarre. After that, however, it has worked perfectly. I wouldn't let this put you off from buying this computer, but I would suggest that you do not remove user accounts once you have made them!

Overall, this is an amazing computer. It is certainly a step up from any other standard laptop out there. While it doesn't have some of the abilities of an actual Ultrabook, it comes pretty close, and it is even better in terms of drive space and gaming. Also, the price cannot be beat for what you are getting here. Add this puppy to your Christmas list this year, and hope Santa thinks you've been good!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This HP Envy 6-1110us 15.6-Inch Sleekbook (Black) is not just another ultra-light ultra-fast notebook laptop; this one has Bluetooth! With this sleekbook, I can connect wirelessly not only via 1x1 802.111b/g/n WLAN but also via Bluetooth! So I can wirelessly listen to my music through bluetooth headset and access the laptop through bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Also, I can use bluetooth to sync my bluetooth-enabled smartphone with my Envy Sleekbook 6-1110us! This is handy for whenever I am not around wifi, I can still connect my smartphone with this sleekbook since it is bluetooth enabled. I can wirelessly sync and print from up to 30 feet away on this sleekbook with Bluetooth.

The HP Envy 6-1110us 15.6-Inch Sleekbook (Black) has the same brushed aluminum in midnight black finish that I prefer and HP really delivers! In addition this sleekbook has a red soft-touch base which is easier to grip, doesn't scratch as easily and looks super cool; the red/black combo reminds me of a ferrari for some reason. Not only does this sleekbook look awesome, it is sensual to touch. It seems the bottom of my laptops get scratched before the top does, so this new soft-touch base is a big plus for the laptop looking awesome for a longer period of time. I anticipated it feeling softer and rubbery from reading the description than it actually does in person. It feels like solid metal when I touch only the base and it is not until I touch both the base and the top that I can tell the softer grippier texture of the bottom. It looks like red metal not rubber or soft. The red goes up on the sides where the ports and plugs are but not onto the inside around the keyboard or screen. It is a really cool looking black with ruby red combo and each day I seem to fall a little bit more in love.

The HD BrightView LED-backlit display is so impressive. I just love photos and videos on it as they look more vivid and crisper than even on my HDTV and that is amazing as every cable provider comments how my HDTV makes their feed look the best they have ever seen!

The HP TrueVision HD Webcam with integrated dual array digital microphone delivers a superb Skype experience.

This HP Envy 6-1110us 15.6-Inch Sleekbook (Black) is super fast with its Next Gen AMD Quad-Core AB-4555M Accelerated Processor with 1.6GHz up to 2.4GHz speeds, 4MB L2 Cache, 4GB DDR SDRAM (1DIMM) (up to 16GB is supported). It is nice to know my sleekbook and data are protected on the 500GB 5400RPM hard drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection.

The touchpad as well feels great to touch and use and includes the normal mouse moves including double tap, 2finger scroll, pinch or stretch to zoom, top-edge swipe to display app commands, right-edge swipe to display the charms (search, share, start, devices, and settings) and left edge swipe to switch between open apps. You can quickly return to the start screen by pressing the windows logo key on the keyboard.

Windows 8 just came out so it is new to me and of course there is a learning curve but so far I like it. I like that it is linked to my Microsoft account which means that every time I sign into a Windows 8 device, my settings and custom tweaks will come with me and be applied. Because Microsoft accounts are linked to SkyDrive storage, Office 2013 will back up automatically uploading to the cloud. Windows Media Center will not be included for free in Windows 8 but right now through January 31, 2013, you can request a free product key for it at the microsoft windows website.

Some people complain about the "missing DVD drive" as we have come to think of them as standard must-have but I think soon we may view them as obsolete because now most software and media are downloadable/ uploadable to cloud or social media, flash drives are faster and more portable as well as safer, and technology is moving toward syncing via cable or wirelessly through wifi or bluetooth between devices including those specifically designed for media storage. When I mention a floppy disk or floppy drive, people in their 20s give me blank stares having no clue what I am talking about and ask "what is that?"; undoubtedly someday I will get the same questions when I mention the optical/dvd drive, but how soon/long until that day? Secondly, on those seldom occasions when a dvd drive is needed, one could easily use an external DVD drive when needed or connect via USB cable to a pc or laptop that has a dvd drive. The benefit of not having a dvd drive is a lighter thinner notebook. I think I prefer having a lighter thinner laptop going commando without the DVD drive.

The bluetooth feature is costly though as for the same $699MSRP, the bluetooth-less HP Envy dv6-7210us 15.6-Inch Laptop is available which has:

a faster AMD Quad-core processor,

50% more Memory (6GB DDR3 RAMM compared to 4GB DDR3 RAMM).

50% larger hard drive (750GB compared to 500GB),

a 3rd USB 3.0 port (only two on sleekbook),

a VGA 115-pin port (not on sleekbook),

a super-multi DVD burner driver (not on sleekbook)

Beats Audio quad speakers and a subwoofer (sleekbook has Beats Audio dual speakers and a subwoofer)

a numeric keypad

HP SimplePass with integrated fingerprint reader

50% larger battery(6cell compared to 4-cell) its battery life is up to 5:15 while sleekbook's is up to 6 hours. This results partly in sleekbook being lighter (4.53lbs) than laptop (5.66lbs).

However, not only do you give up the bluetooth but also the supercool red soft-touch base.

HP is also coming out with a 14" touchscreen sleekbook which I am also interested in what features you get on that at what pricepoint as it sounds super cool as well.

What is a sleekbook?

A sleekbook is an HP Ultrabook-like thin-and-light laptop that can't be called an Ultrabook, in some cases because it uses an AMD processor (Ultrabook is an Intel trademark; all Ultrabooks are therefore Intel machines, by definition.) or for one reason or another, can't qualify as Ultrabooks under the Intel's specific criteria:

quick start up and app launching

21mm or thinner for notebooks with 14-inch and larger displays

5 hour minimum battery life

CULV Intel processors

Flash storage if not completely solid state, then at least in a hybrid format

7 second resumption from hibernation

Ultrabooks and sleekbooks are nothing fundamentally new. They're just the latest gloss on thin-and-light laptops/notebooks. Maintaining that they're something else just confuses matters, especially when some Ultrabook-like computers don't qualify as Ultrabooks for reasons that consumers shouldn't need to care about. All these different names are just marketing by manufacturers trying to cut out their own niche. Everybody knows technological devices/equipment keep getting slimmer, lighter, faster, cheaper, and brighter; does that warrant a new name different from notebook or laptop? I don't think so.

If you are looking for a bluetooth-enabled ultra-fast ultra-light sexy notebook

especially in the black/red soft touch bottom combo, look no further!

You will be thrilled with the HP Envy 6-1110us 15.6-Inch Sleekbook (Black).

Best Deals for HP Envy 6-1110us 15.6-Inch Sleekbook (Black)

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I've got to admit, I wasn't expecting much from the HP Envy 6-1110us Sleekbook, as I had my doubts that the AMD processor could keep up with some of the processor heavy applications I run. My doubts were nicely proven wrong, and I found out this AMD powered Sleekbook is a real powerhouse for an incredibly reasonable price.

The build quality of the Sleekbook is excellent, the fit and finish is somehing you'd expect from a top of the line product. Nowhere does it feel like any corners were cut. Even the chicklet style keyboard has a nice feel to it, not at all dead and lifeless like I was expecting.

The Sleekbook runs quietly for average tasks, but when starting to heat up under a load you'll definitely start to notice the fan starts to ramp up in speed. During general use you can set the Sleekbook on your bare lap and it is barely warm at all. Once it starts heating up and the fans kick it, you'll really start to notice some warmth, but it isn't nearly enough to cause any discomfort.

The screen size and resolution are excellent, the resolution is just right for the size screen, proving a clear, sharp display with reasonbly accurate colors. No noticeable color shifts were noticed on my unit, nor were any dead or stuck pixels spotted.

Audio from the speakers leaves much to be desired, as is the case with all laptops, but once a pair of headphones or IEM's are plugged in, the audio processing engine really brings the sounds life, especially good for music lovers.

HP is a company that is well known for the excellent customer service, so if any problems are ever experienced under warranty, you can rest assured HP will take care of you.

This is a great laptop, powerful and cool running for a great price. You'd be hard pressed to find a better model at this price point.

Honest reviews on HP Envy 6-1110us 15.6-Inch Sleekbook (Black)

The HP ENVY 61110-US, a 5 Star Computer! Thin and light, comparable to a Macbook Air with a brushed aluminum

cover (instead of Apple's silver aluminum) as well as weight and screen resolution. At 1/3 the price of an Apple

Laptop and a savings of $1,000, the HP ENVY also throws in EXTRA FEATURES beyond Apple's including Beats audio

dual speakers with a subwoofer, at 15.6", a larger video screen, and a 500GB Hard Drive.

Like a Macbook Air, no DVD\CD drive, as USB Memory sticks and cloud computing make the need for a DVD\CD drive

less important than ever, and the absence of of a DVD\CD drive allows a thinner sleeker design. If a DVD\CD

writer is occasionally important to you, then purchase a lightweight USB DVD\CD\Writer for $35 to carry in your

laptop bag for the occasional time that you will need it. In economic terms, DVD\CD\Writers have a declining

utility, so much so that Microsoft has decided to save the bucks that it pays for licensing patented DVD player

technology, and not include copyrighted DVD playback as part of its included Windows 8 Media Player. But that can

be easily overcome by simply downloading the free opensource VLC Media Writer or pay WindDVD, PowerDVD, or a

plethora of other companies $50 or less.

Both Macbook Air and the HP Sleekbook work seamlessly with the cloud, and free 5GB storage (or more) is available

from Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Dropbox, etc. If you don't need to store video, free storage on the cloud will

be more than adequate for most needs. For those that might need to store video, the HP ENVY includes a 500GB

Drive (Macbook Air provides faster electronic memory up to 500gb and no hard drive, but at additional cost over

and above the base price of a Macbook Air), or you can pay to store your video on the cloud. The HP Sleekbook

battery lasts up to 8.5 hours when fully charged, if properly configured and when new.

So, what is it that you're actually paying APPLE $1,000 extra for? The Apple Operating System. Is it worth it?

Less than 20% of the world seems to think so. 75% of the world would rather save $1,000, not be bound to Apple's

choices for Hardware and Software there is no computing system in the world more versatile or with more choice

or options than Microsoft Windows. Apple provides a more user friendly experience, but limits consumers to the

choices that Apple makes in its limited line-up of laptops and computers. The beauty of Windows 8 is it allows

you to make the choice of hardware features and options, go outside of the box and create the user experience that

you individually desire, and saves you $1,000 in the process.

If the power cord for your Macbook Air goes bad, expect to pay Apple's exorbitant $85 for replacement. Apple's

computers and accessories are typically patented or proprietary, and as a result, non-OEM Apple power cords are

junk (read the Amazon reviews). Genuine HP accessories, parts, accessories and repairs are typically 1/2 of

Apple's, and non-OEM replacements are often of good quality and even cheaper. So, you'l save money in the long

run as well.

Windows 8 is an absolute improvement over any OS Microsoft has delivered to date. The naysayers and complaints

about Windows 8 are primarily from old Microsoft users who are not ready to learn a new OS because its easier to

just do things the old fashioned way. So Windows 8 attempts to find a middle ground between the future of

computing (the new Windows 8 Touchscreen Interface) and the old fashioned Windows 7 and before OS. The future

means touchscreens instead of mice, the cloud instead of hard drives, phones, tablets and laptops that all use the

same interface, ultimately seamlessly so that you can move between one and another without ever noticing, and

that's what Windows 8 sets out to do and attempts to deliver. So realize that the future is not quite yet

here, and what Microsoft is moving towards, is to integrate it all. At this point in time, Windows 8 as an

unified single operating system fully integrated for phones, tablets and computers\laptops. Apple is still two

separate and disparate operating systems, Mac OS for Laptops\Desktops and IOS for Tablets\Phones. Windows 8

arrived in October, 2012, and the endeavor of writing computer code is long, complex and cumbersome, not only for

Microsoft, but for Apple as well. Apple has just a few variations to deal with, while Microsoft attempts to

integrate hundreds and thousands of disparate electronic components (thus more options). Both Apple and Windows 8

Operating Systems are continually updated while you sleep (if you choose automatic updates) to correct flaws,

eliminate bugs and improve and address the future of computing. For those who complain about Windows 8 give it

a chance, as Microsoft has no choice but to evolve or die.

As an informed consumer, make the choice for yourself.

I docked this 1 star for having to return this item twice. However, this machine, once it was working, is a great computer.

I like the size of this. It is very thin and very light. It's easy to carry around.

The keys are very nice to type on.

The trackpad has multitouch and is very responsive (a must for using windows 8)

The computer is fast and runs programs easily.

I use it mostly for consuming media and wordprosessing (though my kids use it for games and don't complain) and it works just fine.

I don't like HP's QA department. We got the first one and after about 5 weeks and then it got caught in a continuous reboot cycle and wouldn't come out of it. Amazon took the return and sent us a new one. After about 7 weeks it went black. Nothing worked. Amazon wouldn't take it back anymore (a first for me), so I sent it in to HP and they fixed it under warranty saying some wires had come loose.

I also don't like that it doesn't come with a DVD drive, but I guess that's why it's so thin. I bought an external drive from amazon that works just fine with it, but it's one more thing to pack along.

I almost gave this 2 or 3 stars based on the hassle of the machines not working, but when it works I like it so much that it overcame the problem, and our machine has ran strong for many months now without a problem.

This laptop is everything you'd expect from a high-end gaming laptop. From inside to outside, all features and components have been designed for top notch gaming performance.

This particular model utilizes Intel's latest CPUthe 4th generation i7 8 Core processor which packs more processing potential than most users will ever need.

This model is loaded with 16 gigabytes of DDR3 RAM and is upgradable to 32 gigabytes. This is more RAM than most games will recommend for system requirements.

The GPU is Nvidia's latest mobile modelthe GeForce GTX 770m. Packing 3 gigabytes of super fast GDDR5 dedicated VRAM this bad boy will push high frame rate benchmarks even under high graphical settings. Some games will drop significantly in frame rates under super max video settings due to poor game run engines but I have never been happier with graphics performance since purchasing this laptop. This system also comes equipped with a super cooling feature at the push of a button. The fan system will kick into high gear and DROP temperatures of the CPU and GPU to extremely admirable levels making this laptop very versatile. This mobile GPU is second only to the GeForce GTX 780m which is Nvidia's top GPU model.

Three USB 3.0 slots. Two USB 2.0. Top of the line networking adapters for WiFi, LAN etc... The keyboard is the new SteelSeries with a customizable backlit keyboard that may be adjusted at the touch of a button. I have to stress how comfortable and responsive this keyboard is. I have never type so fast on another keyboard. The keyboard on this laptop is truly a wonder in and of itself.

The sound system is remarkable. Three speakersleft, right and bottom. Crisp and clear sound. No crackling or muffling. Even has some bass to it. The sound system is the best you can get for laptops. You won't be disappointed.

THE ONE FLAW...

This particular model comes with only a 7200RPM HDD. It has an open bay to add a solid state drive which will greatly increase performance when and if you upgrade. The system comes with a mounting bracket specifically for this SSD upgrade. It will be located inside the box with the power supply in a sealed bag. Windows will score this laptop at a very insulting 5.9 due to the HDD being the lowest sub score. The processor and memory score a whopping 7.9 and the graphics/gaming graphics score a very nice 7.1. Once upgraded, this laptop will score an all around 7.1.

Buyers will be pleased nonetheless. I am so happy with this system.

Got it about 3 weeks ago

Quite powerful. I can use it for both development and gaming.

The sound system can be set to much more louder level than it was in my previous laptop -HP TouchSmart (which is good if you are going to watch movies without headphones).

Only one thing that seemed not to be perfect -I can clearly hear HDD and other electronic noises in my headphones, so consider buying external USB sound card if you like listening to music and have a good pair of headphones.

Had this about a week and with exception of Windows 8 (not an MSI issue) I'm very impressed and happy. Quality feel; doesn't feel plastic and cheap. Keybaord is responsive and quiet. Backlighting is nice as it helps in low light situations. Screen and display is crisp and bright at 50% brightness. Battery charge is decent if the Nvida GPU isn't engaged. Runs quiet as well but when the fan revs up under load it will be noticed; louder than most desktops I think.

I've only run into 2 issues and potential issue, which I haven't yet figured out: 1) Nvida drivers won't update, 2) Sims 3 will not run. On 1), the driver update will start to Install then fail due to not finding "compatible hardware". Everything seems to be working with Nvida graphics; Device manager shows its working properly, Nvida driver website recognizes the GPU and recommends the driver update. Running it or saving it and then running it locally results in the same error.

On 2) the game loads fine but when it enters game mode from a typical install and game updates from launch console, Windows displays a messages that it had problems and is terminating the TS3 program. Made recommended adjustments the DEP and then game goes into "game mode" but then blacks out". Sometimes get a popup saying TS3.exe has been prohibited from accessing graphics hardware. Only way out is hard reboot. The kids weren't happy but I uninstalled the program and will continue to look for a solution. THe potential issue deals with the BD burner not always recognizing a disc I load. SOmetimes I'll have to open and close the drive several times before it will recognize its loaded and display in Explorer.

Win 8 is just a terrible interface for laptop/desktop use. Not efficient at all. Some movements from the mouse or touchpad will take you from your app or desktop window to the tile window. Just very annoying.

If you don't want a big and heavy laptop then don't buy this. The physical specs are pretty true; it's big, barely fits in my Victronoix messenger which is for most 17" laptops. The power unit is also big and heavy. It's 180W supply so be ready.

Win8 new MUI is a pain in the rear!

I purchased laptop for gaming. This laptop is a heck of an upgrade from my older model. No more msgs during game play that my machines video setting is slowing down the game and no more lagging due to built in Killer Network feature!!

That's a laptop for serious gaming... no negative points at all. Some say about the heating, but it is just great, I can stress the card a lot and still got cool temperatures.

My review is going to be in sections about each feature or aspect of the laptop and then an overall thought about it.

Size: This is a nice portable, not too small not too big laptop. I carry it in my backpack to and from school and I can not feel a difference between this and a small text book. It's nice not having to lug my 6 year old hp around anymore.

Screen: On the highest brightness setting the screen is very bright and well lit. Lowest brightness setting will save some battery life and it's not too low where you cant see anything but just perfect. The led screen is much brighter, more energy efficient and gives a better picture when watching movies or playing games compared to the older fluorescent style screens. The hd resolution is typical for any standard computer and on a 14 inch screen it looks better than on a 15 inch or 17 inch. You just loose some screen space but improve the clarity. The screen itself is pretty thin too. Stack two nickels together and that about how thin it is. Although it is pretty solid

Build: The computer is all plastic. Its your typical plastic that most laptops use today but everything on the computer feels pretty solid and not chincy. There is no metal screen back or anything like that.

Ports: The hdmi port works great. Hooked it up to my led tv the other day and worked right away and looks nice. Usb 2.0 port works like every other usb 2.0 port I have used and seems very standard and is located on the left hand side. I currently use it for a wireless mouse dongle. The 2 usb 3.0 ports are located on the right hand side, side by side, next to the hdmi port. I transferred some file in about 15 seconds that would have taken probably a minute with usb 2.0. If you do not know usb 3.0 is alot fast than 2.0 but if you are just transferring small word documents or small pictures you wont really notice it. I find it pretty convenient this laptop includes both and not just one or the other. It also has your typical cat 5 which includes a clasp type of mechanism where the plug in goes I'm assuming for extra security which is nice too. There is a mic/headphone port (not seperate). I read somewhere that this was a bad thing as it a combined port an not seperate for a mic and a seperate pair of headphones but the way I see it is there is already a built in microphone by the webcam so you don't need a seperate mic anyways. So if you have earbuds or headphones with a built in mic it works that way as well.

Trackpad: Has raised bumps which I prefer over a smooth one because you can get the feel of it more. Also you can turn the trackpad off by double tapping the circle indentation in the upper left hand corner. All finger control for windows 8 feel fine and I don't have a problem with them. Just takes time to get used to if you aren't already. You also have your typical left and right buttons that have a nice solid click.

Keyboard. Chiclet style. I prefer this setup as the keys are more on their own "island". Just like mac keyboards. They are more spaced out than a standard keyboard but I was able to get used to it after a couple minutes of typing. Keys are very easy to press and I don't feel a slight bit of finger strain at all. The up and down arrows are smaller than white I am used to but not a problem at all. Features on the keyboard also include screen brightness adjustment, mute, sound up/down, wifi on/off and is a standard size keyboard. It also has play and stop etc.

Sound: I didn't notice this in the advertisement but this laptop has altec lansing speakers with dolby advanced audio. They sound great for such a small laptop and wathcing a movie would be enjoyable or listening to music or playing games.

Performance: This has 6gb of ram and the 3rd gen i5 17 watt processor. The 6gb of ram should be enough for almost anyone which i nice that you don't have to upgrade it right away. The processor is the 3rd gen i5 with Ivy Bridge. I look at this processor as an efficient but powerful processor. I was able to download some files off the internet, watch 3 movies in 1080p and play music on pandora all at once. So this should be fine for almost anything you want to do. I am not a gamer so I can't comment on that. The 17 watts i5 processor had me concerned when I first got it thinking it might be too slow since the regular ones run at 35 watts but that all gone and I am very pleased to do anything I really want without having to wait for anything to catch up. I also read a review on the 17 watt i5 vs the 35 watt and the tests came back almost identical. So you get the performance while using less power. Also my older style hp would heat up lie an oven. I've been running this one pretty hard that last hour and it has yet to get hot. Stays cool to the touch. The vent is also located on the side which is great for people who actually use laptops on their lap.

Battery: Every laptop that you can get a good deal on always has a cruch. The battery life on this is about 4 hours. Thats surfing the web, watching some online videos and listening to music. It is pretty good for a 4 cell battery and just how small it is but there is better out there. I find that I am able to go to school and work on anything I have to before I leave so it works for me. So if you use this for travel or dont have a power outlet near you, you might want to consider buying another battery or a portable power supply.

Webcam: Webcam is front and center and works. It's not 1080p hd or anything but it works and has the same resolution you will find standard anywhere else.

Overall I love the laptop. It's lightweight, powerful, slim and has all the features you need. The only reason I took away the one star is because of the battery life. Its great to have this much power in a smaller laptop but it needs a bigger battery some days. Also any upgrading of the hard drive, memory etc...requires you go through the keyboard which can be a pain but it's not that difficult to do. If you are looking for a lightweight laptop that has great performance, resolution and you dont plan on using it for more than 4 hours at a time without a charge then this would be it.

****After a couple months now I have really enjoyed this laptop. I still have to reach for my charger every now and then but most of the time the battery life is long enough where I can get done what I need to. It last about 4 hours on a dim screen. Overall performance is still excellent. Loads and plays a 1080p movie on youtube without hesitation. The issue with my last hp laptop is it would get really hot. This one gets warm if I leave it on the bed, but not hot or even really warm. The paint by the keyboard and mousepad haven't dulled at all. I paid $400 for this on black friday. I would pay the asking price for this laptop if I needed a lightweight, fast and efficient laptop.

Update 4-13-13

Still running strong. No issues yet and I still like everything about it.

I wanted to inform some people who have not experienced Windows 8 yet. All of the advertisements shown for Windows 8 has the "tile" layout, similiar to smartphones and tablets. It's great for those devices but Windows 8 also has a "retro" user interface which is the traditional layout most people are used to and is found on Windows 7, Vista, XP etc. So you can have icons just like the Windows 7 but there is no start menu. You can add a start menu through a free download, google it, that works fairly well. That way you can access everything traditionally like you normally would in Windows 7 and XP by clicking on Start. Also Windows 8 is incredibly fast when starting up. Windows XP and 7 take an average of 45 seconds plus. Windows 8 Takes about 15 seconds for me to get signed on with this laptop. So it if fast which is nice if you have to log on quickly. Any questions please leave a comment.

In my lifetime (I'm 65 years old) I have owned too many desktops to count and this was my 30th Laptop. I must say that this is the BEST of the BEST !!

I have never owned a Laptop that was so responsive and trouble free !! It basically set itself up, maintains itself automatically and allows me to just use it instead of always having to upgrade and maintain it myself ! When I turn it on it boots up and is running in 2 to 3 seconds .... WOW !! Battery life is around three hours which is great and this machine even gives me a warning at 14% battery life left, so I can hook it up to the charger and run it from there without missing a beat ! This little machine has NEVER gotten near hot, just mildly warm !!

Now, I am not a big fan of HP ( I have several old HP machines in my garage) but this really is the best engineered machine I have ever owned. HP has thought of everything ! The only thing missing was the mouse and a CD/DVD Drive so I purchased a LG GP10NB20 Portable DVD+/-RW External Drive and a Logitech Wireless Mouse M325 from Amazon.com, both of which worked flawlessly with this computer !

Well, I can't say enough good things about this machine, but soon I would just appear to be rambling ... so I will close with this :

If you are looking for a super fast and powerful Laptop computer at an exceptionally low price, buy yourself one of these !!

You won't regret it !

The only problem was that the photo of the laptop was not accurate. It doesn't have the number keyboard on the side , it only has the numbers on top. Be careful if that is what you are looking for, otherwise its very nice. I don't really like wondows 8 inicial windows, it kind of confusing.

I love it. It is very fast and getting used to using the windows 8 (I had vista before so it is a little transition). It is a notebook style though it says laptop because it has no cd,dvd, or bluray drive (which for the price is fine you can always look online and get an external for a good price). VERY LIGHT! Love how light and easy to carry. It is thin and the screen size it perfect not too big but not too small. I would highly recommend it. I have had for 2 months so far so awesome will update later.
